Welcome to our Land Based CE Seminars
Although Land Or Sea CEUs specializes in CE seminars on great cruise ships, we have been requested to present trainings in traditional locations around the country.
We are pleased to announce the following upcoming trainings. We will be posting more as we get them scheduled. Want one near you please let us know. Please keep checking back for more trainings and locations.
Mindful Ethics - 3 CEUs $45 until 10 days before training - 9 days or less $55
The teaching of mindfulness in conjunction with counseling offers both teacher and student the opportunity to experience the material in a profoundly deep and unobscured way. This is because mindfulness practices transform both the content and the process by infusing into them an open, nonjudgmental, and engaged attitude. Not surprisingly, mindfulness increasingly is being taught not just a stand alone course but as an integral part of course curricula at educational institutions across the country. This course will help you consider the primary areas of ethical and legal violations during recent years among counselors, therapists and social workers. Ethical and Legal violations are often related to the deficiencies in the capacities of attunement, insight, and empathy. You will learn how to be more mindfully connected with your clients.

Knowledge and experience of the curriculum and themes of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and some consideration of the

Students will learn a practical, experientially anchored, multi-faceted model for incorporating mindfulness in psychotherapy. This advanced training and certification will include instruction in a range of mindfulness meditation practices in which each participant can develop or enhance a personal discipline of meditation practice, as the necessary foundation for the incorporation of mindfulness practice in clinical work. Opportunities for each participant to develop and enhance skills in guiding and de-briefing meditation practices for patients, anchored in the therapist’s personal embodiment of the practice.
Attendees will be introduced to systematic, mindful inquiry and investigation in the meditation practice and in the therapeutic relationship.
Exploration, through mindful inquiry and dialogue, of the potential of mindfulness practices and perspectives to enhance treatment of a broad array of symptoms and diagnoses, across a range of theoretical orientations, treatment modalities and techniques.
Training is designed to meet the needs of therapists wishing to establish and cultivate a personal discipline of mindfulness meditation practice as the foundation for incorporating mindfulness meditation in psychotherapy.
You will develop skills and inner capacities for incorporating mindfulness practices and perspectives from a variety of sources into clinical work which include MBSR and adaptations such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) and other mindfulness and acceptance therapies like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
